I am finishing up school this year, Next year I will be applying to college for PFED (Pre Fire Education), and perhaps after that I will be applying to a Fire Sciences program as well. Till then I enjoy collecting models of Fire apparatus. My Fav right now would have to be my 1928 Reo Fire Engine St. Paul FD.

Post pics of fire apparatus that you think might make a good Code 3 model.

Please: no commenting on how Code 3 should hurry up and release newmodels, or saying "I think that this would make a good model, pleasemake it", or ANYTHING along those lines.

have fun, and enjoy the pics...

Im having trouble getting my pics to upload to photobucket, so I will try again to upload later.

a couple favorites i would like to collect would be Mississauga, Canada Pierce Platform Ladder 1/64, and FDNY Engine 54 1/64, and FDNY Ladder 4 1/64.

After that, i dont know what I will be looking for.

Looking for FDNY 1/64 water cannon.

I just received my second code 3 fire truck, FDNY E53. Its in mint condition except that it is missing it water cannon.

I was wondering if anyone might possibly have a spare 1/64 scale FDNY water cannon?

I would be willing to pay for one using paypal.

Let me know what you can do.

Thanks in advance.

there is no sense in letting it sit locked up.

1998 HME/ Saulsbury FDNY Rescue 3.

I attached a couple photos to share with you all.

Re: New Releases????

January 26, 2009 by sarniafirebuff

as much as i would like to see a lot of other models other than NY, its just not gonna happen i dont think. FDNY trucks sell. thats the bottom line, and what better way t make money than to use the same molds.
everyone wants to see an apparatus from where they're from. well not gonna happen all at once. it takes years to make whole collection of  different rigs, and to make money you have to break even after you make a new mold. so you use that mold till you make a good profit.
it is not as easy as a lot of you think to be able to make new molds all the time to meet client demands, and still make a profit, so that you can stay in business to keep making money to keep client/ collectors happy.

possible apparatus?

January 9, 2009 by sarniafirebuff

im new here, im thinking about purchasing some FDNY appartus for my collection. i have been trying to find a collect fire rescue itmes for a while now, and i just discovered code 3.

i was wondering if it would be at some point in the futre, be possible to think about making some apparatus form the Toronto Fire Service, in Toronto Onatio Canada? spesificly from station 332.

also i would like to know if it would ever be possible to make some apparatus from Sarnia Onario Canada?

not a huge deal, but it would be really awsome for the collection!
