first code 3?
Los Angeles E 88 the Seagrave, years after it came out I found it in a display case at a farm toy store, I didn't know anything about Code 3 at the time, but it got me hooked.

i bought the furst 2 sets fdny an los angeles at a venture store in norridge, il in 1997 in 1999 i got the blue hollywood seagrave at a target stor in niles, il on clearance for 3.50
The original Rescues from FDNY. Bought them at Target for $25.00 a piece.Engines were $20.00. in 1997.

Found it in a hobby shop sitting next to Squad 1 for 20 bucks...If only i had known what Squad 1 was at the time. 
LAFD engine 18, FDNY Squad 1 at Tri State fireman's meet in MA. On the way home stopped in our local mall and found the lime green LAFD engine 51 for $20.00 how about that.

FDNY ENGINE 90 AND LADDER 41.AND WHEN DID TARGET SELL CODE 3 COLLECTIBLES?
Target sold Code3 when they were first released in 1997 until about 2000. Toys R Us and KB Toys also sold them in the early going. Then one day Code3 decided to sell direct and through their "Dealer Network" and all the good prices and deals went away. Then several years ago Code3 magically reappeared at KB Toys, as a liquidation effort. Sadly, KB much like the quality Cod3's we once knew are gone.
yes, I found all of the pierce rescues at a KB outlet, I was so suprised to see them there, then looked at the price, each one was marked at $5!!! needless to say i left with all of them!!!!!
MIne was LAFD Seagrave Engine 18. I purchased it at a Hill's Dept. store for $20.

mine was a tiller ladder FDNY "BOT", bought by a good friend for 45 EUR.
Lets see,
I bought Chicago Engine 70 off Ebay for $10 and I got the seller to toss in Mesa Engine 206(I think), Ended up trading the Mesa Quantum for my first FDNY piece, The ALF Engine 34.
LAFD E39, 88, 51, 90 and E18 at toys R US in 1997... Coolest thing i had ever saw had to buy them all!!! I was only 16 at the time.
