I brought up the possibility of offering packages of parts for kit bashers (not my idea, it was suggested by a forum member).  It was just discussed last week in the Los Angeles office. I won't know anything firm until JD goes to China next month.

I hope Code does decide to sell parts packs I would buy a bunch of them and I know others would do the same. It would definitely be a home run!

When I talked to J.D. at the 2008 Expo in Baltimore, he said that Code3 would not produce any blank units for kitbashers. He said that when he was with another die cast company they did produce blanks for kitbashers and there were all kinds of problems when the kitbashes showed up on EBay. I am glad to see that we may actually get extra parts. I am sure they will sell out quickly. I know I will buy several. What is amazing is that Code3 produced a painted, undecorated unit; can't wait for the "clones" to hit EBay.
