Tower Ladder 33, flag set
Hello all. I like the TL33, especially the roof box and traffic cones. Wish the covered aerialscope control console had been added tho.
The flag are nice as well, but I think the poles are way over-scale. Probably about 6-8 inches thick if scaled up to reality. I'm trying to find a way to peal the flag body from the staff without damage to replace with a thinner one. (maybe piano wire or small paper clip segment.)

The TL33 is way off. There is no roof box on the actual truck, there is no rescue basket on the back of the model, it says "L 3" on the roof, and the body over the rear wheels is wrong and the deck gun is wrong.
If you don't like it don't buy it.

Thanks, fdnyfan. I'll give it a try. I still dig TL 33 despite the alleged errors. Used to live on Olinville Ave just north of Gun Hill Rd back in the '60's

jmiiiesq there actually is a roof box on the real truck it also says "ladder 3" because the roof boxes are a fairly new thing for trucks so when they bought the truck it had 33 on it but the box is covering the other 3 up

That photo was taken in 2005 maybe they added the box reasently.
Maybe there is someone that lives in the Bronx that can confirm this?
