Locked topics
Why are topics locked by moderators as soon as they have given a reply to a question? It seems a bit harsh to me that once a reply is given no opportunity for follow up by forum members is allowed.
For example it has been stated that consideration is being given to a further DP ladder release for late next year. It would be nice if the collectors could now be given the opportunity to suggest possible specific apparatus that they would like to see it released as.
I know that promises can't be made and the final decision is based on far more than collector desires but it might at least give food for thought to those at Code 3 when looking for suitable "subjects". A locked topic prevents that.
Topics are only locked in the Question Box category (there are a few exceptions). We chose to stick to a one question, one answer format there. Feel free to discuss the answers in any of the other categories. For instance you want to make suggestions for a new apparatus. We have a category for that (New Product Suggestions). Those topics are not locked (with the exception of information from Code 3).
