San Francisco Heavy Rescue (and Hazmat, CBRNE Units)

San Francisco operates two heavy rescue companies.  To be able to negotiate SF's hills and tight streets, the rescue company operates an American LaFrance walk-in supplemented by a 5th wheel trailer that carries USAR equipment, cribbing, etc.  The trailers are transported via Ford Superduty utility body trucks, and are refered to as "light rescue".

Interestingly, the same basic apparatus design serves as both the Hazmat Unit and CBRNE (chem-bio-radiological-nuclear-explosive) Unit.
