The Forum its self
Does anyone besides me feel that this forum has gotten boring, I mean the first week it was I guess what you could call fun or entertaining for the most part and then it just seem to lose its '' mojo'' Idk maybe its just me. It seems to me that this forum is more about buying and selling fire apparatus's then to discuss other code 3 subject ( even tho there has been ) and real life fire fighting issues and what not.
Busted!
I am new Iv only been on for 2 weeks so I clearly stated after the first week it lost its ''' mojo''.
How am I busted and for what.
I asked a simple question and got two thumbs down, looks like the same old stuff...wow, some people need to get a life!
here's the thing, kid... number one, if you're quoting him, whomever he is, Gregory Widen didn't say that line in Backdraft, Donald Sutherland did. number B, this forum hasn't been, nor will it ever be, like it was when they shut it down the first time. it was like the old "party line" telephones back in the day; busier than a one-legged man in an @$$-kickin' contest. it was constantly abuzz with new topics and back-and-forth chit chat (not to mention, a HELL of a lot more informative and easier to use), but unfortunately for all of us "old-timers" on that board, a few guys just couldn't play nice and quit spoutin' off at the mouth at one another, so in the traditional military fashion, we all suffered by everyone havin' to pay for someone else's mistakes. like Ken-the-kitbash-King (FF Martin) would say...
"One One Oh to Brooklyn, K... ahhhhh, the good ol' days!"
Gregory Widen was the screen writer for the movie so he may haven't said it but he wrote it into the movie.
