Incident Log
I was looking at the Incident
Log of a local fire department and noticed that logged in with calls such as Passenger vehicle fire, Outside rubbish fire, False alarm or false call there was one called Good intent call. Could someone tell me what a good intent call would mean.

That is when a Fire Dept. gets called out for an incident that is founded to be a call where
no service is required. A call for smoke from a house that turns out to be steam from a dryer
vent, an odor of smoke that turns out to be somebody using a woodstove are two quick examples
I can think of right off the top of my head. Somebody seeing or smelling what they believe is a
fire, but turns out not to be. Not a False Alarm because it was not done to fool or decieve anyone
intentionally is my best explenation. There are a multitude of other situations that would fall under
the category also. These runs have to be tallied also, so that is how they are .
