Use of Images and Other Materials in Posts

From the Code 3 Posting guidelines:

• No material posted on the Forum may be in violation of The Digital Millennium Copyright Act, which provides protection for intellectual property.

Please do not put copyrighted images in posts. The use of "hotlinking" to other websites property is also not acceptable. Please provide a link only to external images.

In the future I will ask posters to remove images that are in violation of this policy. In some cases I will delete a post if it contains a majority of copyrighted images. I will always notify the poster when this is done.

Members who do not abide by this policy will be warned. If warned members continue to violate this policy, their accounts will be deleted.

Updated 5/21/09: This also includes articles copied from other web sites, in particular news sites.
