Why club members were we not given the opportunity to purchase this model from Code 3 and Seagrave dealers, Sales reps and employees allowed to? I think that your Code 3 club members should have come first wouldn't agree I have been a club member for meny years now and would have loved to grab this model at this price.
I find this to be very insulting to me after spending thousands of dollars on the 1/64th scale and 1/32nd scale models.
I am very interested in your answer.
Code 3 has a long term relationship with many manufacturers as it does with Seagrave. There are many nuances to the licensing agreements. The special for seagrave was just one of the ways we can meet commitments and assure an ongoing relationship. I spoke with Seagrave and they expressed concern for the tone of the comments Code 3 received. This special was engineered to meet some requests and to better serve Seagrave.
I made this decision in and of itself…it has nothing to do with and Matrix as was implied. It is not a complete sell off and it is not a sign of “troubled times”!
The inner workings of Code 3 and Seagrave will remain just that “inner workings” and enough said.
