I don't know if you know how rare these are, but they have been selling for 65.00 when listed by others. Also, the bid is at .99 no reserve, so what are you whining about?

And yes,I do know how "rare" these are(which evidently you DON'T),since I've been collecting C3 since 1997. There were ONLY 3000 of these produced
to be exact...

Well, I've seen 5 sell for 60+ on ebay, so I feel it's pretty fair, not to mention the bid starts at .99 no reserve.

Ooooooh... I only payed 3.00 for it, so I made $ anyway. And I don't care, I needed to clear up some space anyway, same reason I've got 5 other trucks up for sale. All the sale price has proven is that not that many people were looking for it or could find it. Has every truck you've sold for average price? I know most the one's on here don't, they sell for less, way less.

70.00? I wanted people to bid and I put the buy it now at 70.00 because that's what others have sold for. Yes, I'm terrible! I put a .99 listing with no reserve and a buy it now for 70.00. Stop me now! I list trucks' buy it nows at current market price and the starting bid way below! They should arrest me, huh "whatever?"
I see a few things going on here with this post. First off, I collected Code 3's back when they first came out, when you could find them at Target stores, toy stores and other places. In late 98 i started collecting Hot Wheels instead of fire trucks, thought it wouls be cheaper. Wrong! I sold all my code 3's to friends and fellow collectors to have money for the hot wheels. Long story short, over the years in HW collecting a name came to light... Scalper. Take all the hard to find cars for a $1 and sell them to the guy who can't find them for $20+. The true collectors would help the other collectors by selling them for the same $1 or trade them or give them to them. I have been on this site for a couple of weeks now. I have come back to my love for fire trucks and am trying to get ones from the past that I missed due to being away for 10 years. I have found some great guys on here who have sold trucks and traded with me very fairly. Now to this post:
First you say "Well, I've seen 5 sell for 60+ on ebay, so I feel it's pretty fair," that was when you first listed the truck and whatever called you out on it. Then you say "Has every truck you've sold for average price? I know most the one's on here don't, they sell for less, way less." that was after it sold for $8.50, not $60+. Which is it? I'm just courios, I bought mine mint in dome about a month ago off ebay for $14. Now that is a fair price to me. A scalper would want $60+ for a suburban, or $175 for a FDNY aerialscope.
