New Classics?
While I realize everyone has been anxiously awaiting an American LaFrance 900 tractor drawn aerial from Code 3, and Code 3 does already have several other classic castings available to pick from, I am wondering if Code 3 has considered or is considering adding any new classics to the line? More specifically Maxim and Pirsch apparatus, both of which have been sparsely produced by other die cast manufacturer's, and were major players in the apparatus market, and used by many cities big and small before their demise. In my opinion these will fill a void in the marketplace, whereas so many Mack, Seagrave and American LaFrance apparatus have already been produced by C3 along with so many other manufacturer's over the years.

Well stated and good thought in your question. I have to state this here. Do you remember having a quarter in the candy store when growing up? There was so much to choose from and just a quarter to spen. It took a long time to pick what one wanted and then when you walked out of the store you kept thinking I wish I would heve bougth this or picked that?
That is the situation with Code 3. We have a good budget but the cost ot tool is high so we need to pick carefully. The subject matter out there is vast but only so much can be doen in an annual release schedule.
I do want to approach future new releases as a current or new rig and a classic each year. Also, we look at how we can extend the introductions with built in modlfications in the future. It is a difficult task to cover the extensive wish list. Even as you comment you mention and item not even discussed or releasesd as if it is in the past already.
