Definately agree with You on this. Build it and we'll buy it!
(if it's not to much trouble, can we have the Engine Company that's assigned in the same House, please?)
I agree 100 percent with everyone, this is the cooooolest truck i have ever seen. it would be awesome if they made it in the diamond plate series!!!
I think it is more likely that code 3 will make this if their are atleast 3 other fire depts. that use this vehicle that they can make. But, again, great truck!

Yessssss that would make a fine replica!!!
I agree that it would require the ability to make additional departments from the same mold to bring this one to fruition. Personally I don't have a major problem with the "dreaded repaints" as long as they aren't overdone. I like the idea of having a variety of departments to choose from.
Early on, when I could afford more, I'd buy a couple of the same replicas (of the same mold) but that were of various departments because I liked the style of the apparatus, it's color scheme, or just liked the department represented. I really liked the Boston replicas, so this one would be a sure sale to me. I would have more Detroit replicas if they had, or would, make more (hint hint... R-U-Listening JD?).
So, IMO repaints do have their place for the collectors, while affording the mfg the opportunity to "recoup" some of their costs and get to the "profit" which is why they are here in the first place.
That is one awesome truck. I would love to get that into my collection. I also would love to see Code 3 do the heavy rescue truck for Hauppauge, NY. I do not know what manufacturer it is but I do know that it has a crane built into it for working heavy accidents on the Long Island Expressway.
that seriously is awesome!!! its BIG!! we dont have aything that big here......the biggest the fire service here has is a 100ft ladder platform.
