Beware: Bad Seller: herningff aka Henrik Schmidt, Herning Denmark uses girlfriends name for money Nadia Jensen, items never received.
Ordered a lot of trucks from him and he wanted Western Union money sent in his girlfriends name Nadia Jensen, Svanevej6, DK 7400 Herning, Denmark. Received notice it was picked up but I never got trucks. I called his phone number Ifound through research and it list him at that address in Denmark. Called Sunday and a person answered saying they were Henrik Schmidt but when I said who I was and asked where are my Code 3 trucks he never said another word and hung up. I called right back and no one ever picked up. This is for everyones info, my opinion only, BEWARE of sellers that sound too good to be true. I am out several hundred dollars on this one too.

I think this would be a good time to stop buying off of here, for everyone. Use something safer. Also, NEVER use a moneygram to pay for ANYTHING to someone you don't know, they cannot be traced. Also, hdean, here is a site to maybe get some $ back and to report the Thiefs!

Hope this helps! Sorry about the loss.

I've never had any problems with the collectors on this site. You just have to be a little careful and try to use only U.S. Postal Money Orders and Priority Mail that way if you are cheated you can call the U.S. Postal Inspectors, it is Mail frauded which is a Federal offense.

I never use Western Union.  Paypal is far safer.

Interesting, I had some dud deals on Ebay a few years ago.  Henrick Schmidt was his name. Bidded and won but never paid.  Wouldn't be suprised if he's the same one.

The Internet Crime Complaint Center, ic3 for short. Is just a clearing house for Internet Crime complaints. They will take your complaint, review it and relay it to the appropriate agency. Whether anyone will look into it depends on the capability, manpower, policies and some times the amount of loss. Because of the rise in fraud especially computer and internet fraud, most agencies are overwhelmed. Many have set a threshold. If your loss does not reach that threshold then the case will not be followed up. There are just not enough investigators to handle the amount of cases. The criminals know this to. Also most criminals believe that using a computer guarantees them anonymity.

When you deal with anyone, it is a good idea to save everything such as emails, envelopes. Anything associated with the transaction. If you have emails make sure when send these emails to Law Enforcement, don't just forward the email. Open it up were you can see the whole header and copy and paste the entire email including the header. Send this to the Police. Forwarding an email does not guarantee that the header will go with it. The header is were all the info is that is needed to identify the sender.

As far as not buying from anyone on here. You can get scammed just as easily on ebay. You just have to do all the checks. Know who you are buying from. Check other forums such as FireEngines.net, google any information you have on the person you are buying from. Be as careful here as you would for hiring a nanny for your baby. You can't be 100% safe but you can eliminate the red flags.

Never use Western Union to make payment. Western Union is the choice of scamsters working the Nigerian scams and the Lottery scams out of Great Britain.

If the seller is out of the US and doesn't accept Paypal or another similar company, don't buy.

Postal Money Orders are a good idea because you can complain directly to the USPS and they have investigators that only work Postal Fraud and have a database to track fruadsters. They do a good job. I have worked with Postal Inspectors a lot.

I could go on and on but you get the idea. You can never do to much to protect yourself. It all boils down to this. If it sounds to good to be true, it probalby isn't and if somewhere in your gut it doen't feel right, go with your gut. You can't be too careful.

If you buy on Ebay and use Paypal, you are 100 percent safe. I've had to use their claim service a couple of times over the years and always got my money back when the seller didn't ship.

I mainly use ebay. Sometimes another store. I just posted these 2 to try and warn other newbies like me. Learned a lesson.Wished if someone else on here had posted what they new about these sellers. Maybe no one new but we need to police ourselves here and help others. Not blaming anyone on here at all, the one responsible is the CROOK himself and my ignorance to check them out. I had a bad feeling about the Denmark guy from the start and didn't use my own judgement. Thanks for all the comments though and the sites you sent me too have helped me locate other trucks. Thanks.

I think that the best to do is to contact the Herning Police via the following Email adress : herning@politi.dk
David, Belgium
