Im trying to prove a point that was shoved down my throat time and time again, so I think this post is more than necessary, ffmike!

You really should have let it go. The point being shoved down your throat was you felt necessary to comment on someone else's price, but when someone did it to you, you got mad, and started to carry on like a child. Pretty much what you are doing now. This post wasnt necessary, you could have learned to mind your own business, and move on. But instead, you decided it was time to draw attention to yourself, with wrong information. The posts that you dug yourself a hole with, are still up for everyone to view. It wasnt your price, it was your comments about others. You are going to drive everyone off of this forum with your childish acts. Will you ever learn?

Im sorry, I must have been mistaken. I didn't know that when the word price is used it wasn't talking about the price of my item. What I did with the gradual lowering of price was an excellent move on a financial stand point. That guy had the post up for awhile and hadn't lowered the price. I did.

You know price is irrelevant. If you don't like the price you don't have to purchase it. It should not matter what price anyone puts on their items. That is the price they feel is worth to them to sell their item. No one should be little anyone for the price they put on the items they want to sell. I have several items that people on here have wanted to buy and the price I put on them was too high for them. I would rather keep the items then sell them for less than what it is worth to me. I put up a Yonkers Engine 313 about a week ago with the serial number of 003. I started the bid at $9.99 with a reserve. The reserve was set at what I wanted to get. If I didn't get that price I was going to be just as happy keeping the item but if someone was willing to pay what I wanted they could have it. As it was the highest bid I got was less than what I paid. No biggy. I didn't want to sell it anyway. But with such a low serial number I offered it.

There is no such thing as too high of a price, on any item you own, that you want to sell. It is entirely up to the seller, to put a price on an item he or she wants to sell. It is also their right to get what its worth to them to sell it.

If you don't like the price you don't have to buy.

There is no reason to be little anyone for the price they put on their items. Its there's not yours. If you don't want to buy it at that price so be it. Somewhere, there is someone who is willing to pay the price. I have seen that many times.

I have had several buyers on this forum want to buy some hard to get pieces from me but did not want to pay what I was asking. That's their right. I didn't want to sell the items anyway, but if someone wanted it bad enough to meet my price then it was there's.

I recently put a Yonker's Engine 313 with a serial number of 003 up for auction. Starting bid was $9.99 but I had a reserve set on it for what I felt it was worth for me to let it go. I didn't want to sell it but I would if the bid was at or above my reserve. If not it has a place in my display were it proudly sits. As it was, the high bid was lower than what I paid for it. There was no way I would let it go for that. But I don't have anything insulting to say about the bidders. It wasn't worth to them what it was worth to me.

You know what, that's a great point. I apologize for seeming hipocritical and commenting on other's prices. Thank you scubaski. Gentleman, please feel free to comment on this topic, but I will no longer be pursuing it. I would also, like to try and start a new "relationship," if you will, and my goal is to get along with as many of you as possible and forget things that happened in the past and, again, start a new.
