YES. I BELIEVE THEY HAVE BANNED GUEST FROM POSTING. I PAY MY CLUB MEMBERSHIP EVERY YEAR. I BELIEVE POSTING ON THIS FOURM IS A PRIVILEGE, THAT SHOULD BE RESERVED FOR MEMBERS ONLY. NON-MEMBERS ARE POSTING ABOUT STUFF THEY DON'T KNOW ABOUT, BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO THE CLUB PORTION ON CODE 3'S WEB SITE. ALSO, AS A MEMBER, MY $20.00 HELPS PAY FOR THE CODE 3 WEBSITE, WITH THE MEMBERS INFO, AND ALSO PAYS FOR THIS FORUM'S WEBSITE. MAYBE MY DUES, MIGHT KEEP CODE 3 IN BUSINESS.

YES, But I doubt our membership fees will help them stay in business. Only more products, new molds, and CUSTOMER SERVICE will do that. Notice I didn't say better customer service because that would imply they now have Customer Service which will all know that doesn't exist.

I wouldn't pay $20 just to have access to this forum. Because that's all you'd get for your $20. The club is a pure scam now. I was a member up until this last summer. There is no benefit that I can't get from a dealer for free. If they were to bring back the rewards points and release more models each year I would reconsider.

A "guest" is someone who has not registered to post.
I am not a member, but I can post.
Even club members are posting about stuff they dont know about.
Being a club member does not immediately make a person an intellect.
If they are a moron, they stay a moron.

Ya might as well get something for the 20 bucks! I wouldn't and don't pay it, but for those who do.

I have no incentive to renew my club membership as there has been nothing I am interested in buying at this time and the club has nothing to offer. Years ago membership benefits were good and there was almost always something to buy.

Well C3s computer systems finally caught up with the real world and after 12 months of not paying membership and getting free shipping they now want their $20 so they can give me $10 off the first (perhaps only) release for the year, when you add the shipping I'm up for $110 for a $50 model, well I guess the C3 addiction is finally cured Thanks JD.

Believe it or not, there actually were people on the old Code 3 board who thought that membership in the Club WAS a requirement to be able to post! Scary, but true.

I don't feel that should be necessary, but I like the idea that you must be registered on the board. That keeps the "spam bots" out!
