Some of the planned releases for the first quarter of 2009 are posted in the Workshop area. Conspicuous by it's absence is the flag-muralled Sutphen pumper from Iona-McGregor, FL. Is this piece still in the works? We've known about it for quite some time, even longer than the Chicago pieces that are shown, and it's nowhere to be seen.
Was this simply overlooked, or possibly pushed back to Q2....or beyond?
Not to hijack your question Andy but, also where is the mystery Mack CF we saw from the workshop?
I don't think they ever pinpointed a release time for the "mystery Mack". It was just a "sneak preview" of something that's in the works....may or may not have even said "next year" for it at some point, I really don't recall.
The two Sutphens, along with Hagerstown, were both supposed to have come out this year. Over the summer, they were listed as somewhere between September and December. The Chicago pieces weren't even mentioned until the PTH event. The aforementioned Iona McGregor Sutphen was on display at PTH along with everything else, and now it's nowhere to be found. That's why I wondered what the deal is with it. It's apparently not right along with the other two anymore.
The Iona model at PTH was very inaccurate. So, that may be why.
And again.. a wrong century.... haven´t learn it yet at code 3. but im sure it will be a sell out due to the fact, that its from the windy city....
