let me try to tell you... there is a group of people here on this board having some kind og dispute with each other, so therefor they vote thumps down on everything that they don´t put up them selves.... this i tried to make a stand against in another thread, result... 6 thumps down.... so don´t pay attention to the voting system,,, i just so some people can have some laughes and feel that they are much bigger and better people than the rest of us....

I get em, usually about -6 because people "disagree" with my opinion, and think Im a "dick" so, yes, it's 100% abused and pointless!

The thumbs up/down thing is a joke. What this board needs is a moderator. The stupid bickering that goes back and forth here is absurd. It's like a couple 9 year old boys bickering in the sandbox.

4 year olds i think.... yes moderators is needed....

I use the old government rating system to work out what is a good post. You see in most government promotion applications if the candidate gets a glowing reference from their boss (thumbs up) that means they are keen to be rid of them.

I find the more thumbs down the more I like most of the posts, you see there are a certain group that share a common brain cell have infected this board (probably due to the number that have left that other place) who vote together to decide if you are cool or not (the same way 14 year school girls do). So don't worry about the thumbs up and down on your own posts, but make sure you give another that you like the thumbs up.....

I think the thumbs up/down idea is for guys like richyrich and one of our other favorites with multiple screen names to manipulate votes. More a classic style of government. But I have to agree with richyrich, the ones kicked off the other place have found a home here. Comfy and cozy.

richyrich,or RescueOz or any other screen names you choose to use, not everyone on this forum has multiple screen names to hide behind. This is the only one I need. Just like others that use multiple names, once you get caught you try to turn it around and make the guys that catch you out to be the villans. The only posts you make are to discredit other forum members that dont agree with you, talk badly about Code 3, talk badly about fireengines.net or insult the United States and its citizens. That is whay it is so easy to figure out your other screen names. When you are challanged, you will claim as you did in another post that it was someone else in Sydney, like you did on the ATEV site. That was some Aussie humor.

I agree, also, as stated before, if you keep up your hate posts and threats, you will be reported to the United States Homeland Security and be seen as a terrorist and put on the list. The list is VERY easy to get on too, so this is your fair warning.

Hate posts and threats??? WHO deems this...I haven't seen any of them.BUT, YOU are the ONLY ONE making threats...Add yourself to the list as it would only be proper.

If you view posts made by some of the members here that have to do with large amounts of anger towards C3, yes, there are threats. Im not going to point the spotlight, but It's pretty self explanatory by reading some posts on other topics. Also, how and when have I made threats?

Who said he was armed, does the US routinely allow soldiers of foreign nations to bear arms on US soil. Perhaps I should have asked how Code 3 would handle one of my workmates turning up on their doorstep whilst he was in LA on business to see if he could get the answers that non of us can. Much as I hate to agree with some of the others in this place, donmateo you seem to be playing with less than a full deck.....

That was an error of mine, it was supposed to say, "...an armed forces man showing up at their doorstep."

And my post wasn't threatning, Im not going to report someone, but C3 might and considering that their have been bad things said about the U.S., the idea is not too far fetched. The point was to try and stop the threatning posts (the threats being directed at C3 and the U.S.).

Whilst you are reporting all the terrorists hiding under your bed (they are no doubt replacing all the Reds) to your government you might want to check who is one of the US's biggest allies in almost every battle since the Boer War. If you bought a model from any of the collectors here and it didn't arrive and the emails you sent bounced what would you do? If you had a friend (and that appears to be unlikely) who was visiting the area that the seller lived in would you get him to call round? I bet you would.
