CODE 3 has some of the best quality products in the toy/collector business. When I first became a member of CODE 3, CODE 3 was making @ least two fire houses each year. Their quality is nothing less than outstanding. I would stongly encourage CODE 3 to produce a three or four bay fire station. Dixon City Fire Department, Dixon, IL. they just recently built and moved into a beautiful five bay station. I realize a building of this nature will require a long lead time and additional expense. I can only speak for myself, but I would purchase three or four of these types of stations for my own. Thanks for listening.
Three or Four Bay Fire Station
Could you please post a pic of that station? Also, it's a good idea.
Very good suggestion, we need some additional fire houses.
Suggestions:
An elongateded 2 bay with room for 2 pupmers , one behind the other and a ladder in the next bay.
Modern design 3 or 4 bay.
Single bay with an ambulance or aux brushruck or pickup bay added on e side.

I personally do not have a picture of the new Dixon, IL City Fire/Police station. However the Dixon City Fire Department has a Web Site that has a picture of the front of the station. I am sure you can obtain the Web Site through Goggle and can get the pictures that way. Hope this is some help.
As stated elsewhere, with the long time between new product intros Code 3 needs to address new apparatus first before going into accessory type products. Firehouses will not be in the near future. i like the idea and want toe keep them in the mix but not right now. it shoould be noted that the firehouses were not "hot" in terms of sales.

For what it is worth John... I noted in an earlier thread about the fire stations that some of the older FDNY stations were good examples of "city" type stations. I suggested that the station identifier (usually etched into limestone over the doors) could be made removable. An identifier for the actual FDNY station could be provided as well as a "blank". That way, the true FDNY enthusiast can have his/her station and those wanting something else can either make their own decals (if so inclined) or have one of the aftermarket decal makers create a decal for the blank.
As a result, a minimul number of stations can be made, yet appeal to a broader & larger base of collectors. Just some food for thought.
i would buy a station if it had more than 3 bays!!!
Why not make a generic 3 or 4 bay fire house with modern graphics for all of us collectors that would display our collection.....
