I wonder if Code 3 has considered who will be the main stay customers as the financial situation looks like it will not get any better?

Have they made an error by NOT diversifying the range of collectibles they offer? as in outside the US market?

I for one am all but cured of my code 3 addiction, not willingly either, I only visit the forums on and off now, and I don't mean these ones.

I am amazed at the amount of people who don't get replies to emails and alike ,imagine what the new collector/customer thinks when they come along and get no answer ? not a good way to keep or create new business.

I wonder how many customers code 3 has lost with this behavior?

I for one am a little annoyed in the constant news letters that never mention any thing outside the US , its a bit like the WORLD series baseball , news flash code 3 America is not the world!

We are out here also, we are all friends but you don't treat us that way, sure they are American fire trucks but do you live in a small room with no windows? we are your customers also.

I wish you would do an International model , don't care where from just give it a go? I think you would be shocked how well it would do.

I wonder how many orders are shipped to non US address's each year , are we really NOT that important to you??

I am disappointed in these forums by the way , not unlike the Code 3 website they are neglected and at times pointless.

Just some thoughts that will never be read by those who say they will.

There is another company that makes 1/64 euro fire trucks. Plus, C3 is only manufacturing in china because labor is VERY cheap there. They can barely make models they already have planned, euro is just way outta reach.

DickMateo, I am sure we all appreciate you answering all of these questions for us. I was not aware Code 3 products were made in China, and I never knew labor was cheap there. Thank you for highlighting that for me. I am going to every online forum I can find today, and post my new found knowledge. You are exceptional. I can not understand why you have not been appointed the official spokesboy of Code 3 Collectibles. At least the company had the foresight to create a question box section, so you may answer the questions in a more timely manner, and with the great skill and knowlege you possess. I am sure when Matt from Austrailia posted the information above, he was not expecting such a swift and decisive answer from a great knowledge based collector such as yourself. Now I am beginning to see that it is true, there is nothing wrong with you and your hundreds of posts, it is the rest of the collectors that just dont know as much as you. I think too that we should call a truce, as I have now seen the errors of my ways. I picked on you without realizing that you truely are the chosen one. The other forums do not know what a jewel they are missing, as your surely shined on this latest response. You give new meaning to the term "shock and awe"....

I'm sorry, I wasn't aware it was illegal to inform people of information CRITICAL to them. Im sorry, I meant "sorry officer" I forgot you were the post police. Again, don't trip on your ego when you leave! :-)

And this company is ?????

I'm sure Matt would like to know as would I, not that European is any closer to having models made from some of the world largest fire services. Maybe Code 3 just don't want to have a mould become out of date before they produced every vehicle in the fleet (even if the did 3 a month for 5 years they'd be way short for some of these overseas departments)

These are chinese made toys for children to play with, none of them replicate anything real, they are play-sets.
They are also about 1/48 scale.

Thanks c3po , that's what some people dont get Code 3's are collectibles not toys, I buy code 3 for what I see as quality and as accurate as you can get in this scale.
