Code 3 Displays

On 09-19-2008 I ordered 5 Code 3 Displays Order Number: 080919-2-40564.
As of 1 minute ago 0538 on 10-24-2008 they have not been shipped. It appears that the Fire and Cop Shop got their order.

I'm not the only one on this forum that has not received their displays. Was is the problem?

Also, why do all our emails to the company come back undeliverable. They are done through your website not our email servers.

i too have asked the question, if i can order the display covers only without the diamond plate base. I admit that i only sent the request within the last hour but i tried last night (Aussie time) and had the laptop crash :(

On September 19th I ordered, via the web-site, two sets of the displays. I continued to check the "Account Summary" but it only said "Not Shipped Yet". I telephoned Code 3.....no answer. I e-mailed Code 3...no response.

I had been waiting several weeks for the display racks and the "account summary" continued to say that they had NOT shipped yet. So I cancelled the order, printed out a confirmation, and went to the other place in Moreno Valley, California (the "Fire and Cop Shop"). I ordered the same items at 1/2 the price, on a Friday and they were delivered on the next Tuesday.

Then a few days ago a big box arrived from Code3, containing the display cases from the original order! I am returning them and contacting my credit card company to ensure they DO NOT pay Code3 for this order (which I had cancelled).

Does anybody at Code 3 know what they are doing? Is there anybody at Code 3?

Here is an attempt to answer some or all of the above.

At the time the displays were offered the warehouse was buried in shipments and this fell through the cracks.

I have been working closely with the Customer Service departemtn to correct the very things mentioned-e-mails not getting thru. Shipments not being able to be tracked. I am sending the comments above for some clarification and will report back here.

Regarding many problems and questions that come to the Customer Service Department I am personally answering many questions from members now.

Regarding the Displays from Fire and Cop Shop being 50% less is half true, if you include the freight the deal from Code 3 was a better price.

i am still working out some facts regarding the inventory on the displays and will see if he offer can return. I know this is not definitive but a beginning to one of many situations that are actually being worked on.

My order was placed the morning the displays racks were listed. Fire and Cop got there's right away and yes with the shipping yours was a better offer. I guess the rest of us are not important enough to honor our orders except when we are paying full price for it.

I really don't care if the offer returns, I still have an outstanding order and I would like it. My question was and still is. "Were is my order?"

There were problems with this wholepromotion that I will not get into. I will need to know what you ordered and then will try very hard to rectify this situation.

Attempting to contact Code 3 Customer Service results in the email bouncing, was finally able to get a response from the Funrise Customer Service email but still no display. Interestingly enough I have since found that this offer was supposedly for US only but there was nothing mentioned on the page I ordered from....

I'd love to let you know what I ordered John but how do we get an email to you?

In my initial post I mentioned the order number and pertinent info but here it is again.

On 09-19-2008 I ordered 5 Code 3 Displays item number 13950-0000. Order Number: 080919-2-40564.

It still shows not shipped as of a minute ago.

I know what you mean. Sending an email to them is a waste of time and that isn't anything new. I've been a member since 1997 and it was that way then.

The only way to at least have some hope for a reply is here and that hasn't resolved anything yet.

There really was a time when you could send an e-mail (via the website to customer service) that would actually get a reply AND some satisfaction.  In addition, there was a telephone number and a real live person to talk to.... Wow... those were the days.   I was able to get some problems, like replicas delivered that were damaged or the wrong one was sent, resolved that way.  You could even ask questions regarding a product or an order that were actually answered.  Heck, I even got double billed one time and a "quick" phone call cleared up everything....  Not any more though.       Yup... those were the days....Undecided

The current email setup results in a bounced email. The main Funrise email is answered but nothing happens so I lodged a dispute with my credit card company since I have no way of telling if the items have been shipped and nobody wants to answer the questions emailed to them. Failing that I have an old workmate who is visiting the west coast at the moment. I wonder how Code 3 would deal with an Australian Army Military Police Officer turning up on their doorstep....

Ah its good to see my old friends still lack the ability to understand the Australian sense of humour, but then again trying to walk, talk and chew gum seems to be beyond their skill set. In fact with their collected ability I'm sure they must be running the dispatch department at Funrise these days, it would explain a lot.......

I understand Aussie humor really well. What I dont understand is why you would post something like that. Sort of like threatening to ban certain American's from visiting your country, in the name of diecast? Its not the first time you have posted something like this, and it wasnt in the name of humor. I do give you credit for trying to hide it behind "humor" though. Fast thinking on your part. Doesnt change all the nasty and derogatory stuff you said about American collectors in the past on other forums in your daily rants. Remember how much you hated Code 3 and John Dunkel not too long ago, and all of those idle threats you made? Didnt you have a daily threat and a daily "I hate Code 3 and John Dunkle thread on two different forums? Was that all in humor too? More than a few here were on the other forums when you pulled all of that crap, and by looking at the response, more than a few remember it. Some Aussie humor huh? At least you have an audience here, for the time being.
