Over the months that this forum has been in use, many excellent questions have been raised. In order to respond to these more effectively, we have created the Question Box category as the preferred place to post questions that you would like to have reviewed by Code 3. We will attempt to provide answers that are as precise and honest as possible.

Please understand that not all questions can be answered but all will be read. In some cases, answers are time-sensitive and will be published at a later date.

We request that you only post questions here that you believe will be of interest to the entire collecting community. We reserve the right to move posts that do not meet this criteria to a more appropriate category.

Remember the criteria laid out in the Guidelines: Because we seek to encourage the free flow of information, the transmission of any information, data, text, files, links, software, or other materials considered to be unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable is prohibited.

Thank you for participating in the Forums.

On 09-19-2008 I ordered 5 Code 3 Displays Order Number: 080919-2-40564.

As of 1 minute ago they have not been shipped. Were are they.

It appears that the Fire and Cop Shop got their order.

I'm not the only one on this forum that has not received their displays.

Also, why do all our emails to the company come back undeliverable. They are done through your website not our email servers.

Is Code 3 planning any boston apparatus for 2009 or new chicago apparatus, and if so, what?

International shipping.

There has been a big increase in shipping costs.   Is this all due to USPS increases?

As a comparison, shipping on one order for 2 x 1/46 trucks in May 2008-
$25.92

October 2008  2 x 1/46 trucks- $79.92!!!!!!

There was a post made about it, where someone contacted customer services via their webpage, and they rectified it back to $24.90 for 2 CFRs to europe.
Possibly you had not tried that.

OH, possibly you could not have read that, it was on another forum where ozzies seem to be banned. (ha ha ha ha)

Dear JD,

I was wondering what are the criteria for you and/or C3/Matrix for opening and responding to your E-mail?

In as much as I have sent you more than 60 E-mails over the past few months, tried to call and even sent a letter or two with no response, I wonder just how genuine your words are:

"Remember the criteria laid out in the Guidelines: Because we seek to encourage the free flow of information, the transmission of any information, data, text, files, links, software, or other materials considered to be unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable is prohibited."

If the free flow of information is your goal, how come there are no answers to communications advanced to you and the Company? I find it rather simple and common that a Company professing to seek the free flow of information can pretend that no communication exists, save that from persons with less direct, less intimidating queries.

If this portion of the Forum was opened to answer questions, I wonder when I'll see an answer. By the way, the "private joke" going around is that this Forum is a farce and just another ploy to placate the followers who accept any modicome of information from C3 as a "Sermon on the Mount".

One-One-Oh to Brooklyn K ... requesting a 10-7 on this Box

Well Said...  Right on target as they say.

However, as history tends to repeat itself, I find it doubtful you will get a proper response.

As I already noted and have been proven correct...  Still no response, at least not here for others to be made aware of and learn from.   Thanks JD...    If nothing else, you've shown you're consistant.

60 emails without a single response?  When are going to get the clue that HE IS NOT GOING TO ANSWER YOUR EMAILS!

One more time for the purpose of the "free flow of information", HE IS NOT GOING TO ANSWER YOUR EMAILS!

I forgot to mention...

HE IS NOT GOING TO ANSWER YOUR LETTERS EITHER!

-poorkenny

poorkenny is right! To have email or letters answered, it's obvious that you must be one of the "Annointed Ones," those few who have priveleged access to Code 3's inner sanctum!

This is obvious to most of us, but poorkenny drives home the point forcefully well. Speaking for myself, I don't get my shorts twisted because some toy company doesn't write back to me.

Then again, the "Annointed Ones" are probably on a first name basis with Mr. Big, and would rate a phone call or, if they are out west far enough and have the proper networking, a face to face conversation, even!

It's sort of like the Wizard of Oz........we have the Lion, who wants perfection and attention, the Tin Man, who wants......more customers? The Scarecrow, who presides over his website stats like the eye in the sky.....(is he really the wizard?) Dorothy, who like Rodney King, just wants us to all get along, but still throws gas on the fires......Toto, who with his canine brain produces about 95% of the intellectual content on any of these boards. Then there are the Munchkins, who don't contribute a damn thing but cyber-litter.

How about the Wicked Witch of the West? The Witch kept all of the answers, and replied to all inquiries about releases with a "Can't say, my pretty!!!"

Maybe if I get stoned and play Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" backwards while reading through all of these forums, it will all make sense to me.

I thought Poor Kenny was one of the anointed ones, or is he just the Tin Man's bitch....

JD,

I have been a code 3 collector for about 12 years with a modest collection of Code 3 equipment (about 200 pieces) and I have been loyal through the changes. But I am starting to wonder where this is all going. Like some of your other collectors, I order the display cases in Sept and still have not seen any shipments. I also have an open order on your books from last Christmas. I have tried to send emails to your customer service and all I get back is undeverable message. In the past we could call and at least talk to someone but the line of communication has gone away. I do realize that when you run these specials there are limited supplies and you may not be able to fill all the orders. My question is when does your shipping department clear out the orders. Most of these orders are via the internet, It would be nice if someone could advise the collectors if an item will not be shipped instead of leaving an open order on the books. I would think this would be a business issue also. I am pleased to see the new release, and looked forward to continuing collecting Code 3's but I am concerned on the lack of ability to communicate with your company. I jioned this formun in a attempt to get some information on my open orders, that I should be able to do by contacting your customer service that is unreachable. Thank you for you time

I am starting to think that the "office" is closed until the next shipments come in. I renewed my club membership a week ago so I could see the "members only" stuff, and my order has not even been processed yet. In the past orders were processed the next day.

Are the two latest releases going to be listed for pre-order?

As per the recent newsletter, expected shipping is 1st-5th & 8th- 12th of December for these units.

Mr John Dunkel,
I would like to know if in the future Code 3 would entertain the idea
of a rig from the Capital Cities of the fifty states of the United States.
Like was done with the US Quarters except in this case it would be a rig or
company from each State Capital City. If successful you might think International Capital Cities. Faithful Code 3 Collectors might go for this
idea.

Why just capitals? I think C3 should pick 5 cities and do a poll then do that poll-winning city.

-donmateo

So, lets think about it. For code 3 to consider this system, they will still have to research all these 5 cities apparatus,($$$$$$$), obtain approval and licensing etc ($$$$$$$$$$$$$$) and then ask a handfull of idiots to take a vote, (worse if one of those idiots had a handfull of screen names) and end up just doing one of those cities.
Jeeeeze, you get to be a bigger dick every time you post.
