A request for Mr. Dunkel. Is it possible to include the Christmas decorations on the upcoming Yonkers ALF Christmas release as an optional accessory? Maybe include them in a small plastic bag to be included within the final packaging. If I do purchase the release, I am definitely going to remove the decorations from the model. In doing that, I am afraid that it might damage the paint, decals, etc. While the decorations look great, they're just not my thing. However, having a new Yonkers piece in my collection is my thing. I feel that it might benifit more collectors this way. It's just a suggestion for you to ponder. Thanks and keep up the great work. The new/ future releases look great. Best of luck.

Good question. Most of these seasonal releases(Christmas, St Patricks Day, etc.) tend to not do very well. I for one don't care for them. Too cheesy. If the decorations are removable I would consider one.

In response to your question and comments. The model will have the decorations permanetly attached. It is what makes the model special and unique to the collection. The difference with the 2008 Christmas Edition is that this is authentic to the real truck. Most if not all of what you see on the Yonkers 313 will actually be the decorations on the real Engine 313 that Yonkers will use in 2008 as the Santa Engine during the Holdays for various reasons. Much of the decoration will be molded detail not just a Tampo print. Also check the sold out position on both the 2008 St. Pat's and Christmas models.

Well it doesn't hurt to ask. Thanks for the reply. It's much appreciated. I now know what makes this release special. Thanks - D
Is that actually John Dunkel, not logged in, or has one of our pot-stirring "guests" ramped up their spelling and grammar to cause more grief?
If it is, in fact, Mr. Dunkel, I second the "thank you" for taking the time to reply and answer the question.
