Most of what you say is true. Some people objected to what they saw as a "Dictatorship." The one thing I disagree with you on is your use of the term "whining." I for one didn't "whine," I just decided not to frequent that particular board anymore after the moderators allowed a person who was known to them, but kept anonymous to the rest of us, to post something about another person who we all know well. That is nothing less than libel.
I'm not sure what your definition of a "whiner" is, unless you mean all of the people who disagree with the majority. I call the in-crowd followers and yes-men "lemmings." We all know what lemmings do, right?

You're not lumped in with the whiners. I guess maybe whiners isn't the correct term, but those who complain to no end, and for them Code 3 can do nothing right unless it's exactly what they want. When big brother leaves the room, and lets everyone come in and play, you either live with what you get, or ask big brother to come back and in and learn to be happy with that.
And actually, the whole thing with the lemmings, I have recently learned, is somewhat of a myth. It was during one of the those 60s-era Disney nature movies that the crew got the lemmings to follow each other off a cliff, thus starting the lemmings legend. Very controversial what Disney did, and created a urban myth in the process.
Either way, the simple way to fix this problem, is to stop allowing "guests" to post. Only registered users having the ability to post would cut down on the spam. Notice that it only started recently when all of a sudden annoynmous "guests" were able to post did all these problems start.

The Disney/lemmings story is pretty funny. I didn't know that!
Requiring registration might solve the whole porn-bot problem, but there are also a couple of "members" here who could use some lessons in civility. I'm glad to know that I'm not one of the Whiners. A bitcher maybe, but not a whiner.

Tell you you what should happen kkkkkkenny.....why don't we let Stepjam just do what he has been doing for about ten years ........stay and give this board some integrity, honesty and class just by his presence...not to mention his fantastic modelling ability. He used that forum for a specific purpose and not for comment so I would say he has stood by his comment.....although I must give you some credit for your Sleuthing abilities or way too much time on your hands or even excellent memory...
My wife gave me a sweater for Christmas....I wanted a screamer or a moaner.......????
