Poll: Will the August U.S. Navy ARFF release come out before October?

So I wonder if the other releases, like Gettysburg will make before the year's out? I would have to think they would need to get the next several releases out before December to capitalize on holiday sales. But the company. in the last two years. has been pretty bad at honoring their own release dates. I hope they can get it together, as I would like a shot at the Gettysburg, provided there isn't another huge price increase in our future.

I certainly hope so!!! I'm not a big fan of the ARFF but since I spent almost 5 of my 9 years as a Sailor in Norfolk, I am happy to add this to my collection.

Waiting for the ARRF's is costing us O/S members $$$$$$$. Aussie dollar has dropped near on .20c against the greenback since pre-orders were taken!. Result- $59.90 model becomes $75.00.

Yet to see a reason for the delay. I would expect the orders would have been thick & fast.

I was on the Simon Lake AS-33, Josephus Daniels CG-27, Savannah AOR-4, Guadalcanal LPH-1 or 7 and the Wasp. Seems like an eternity (92-96 in Norfolk) but some of the memories are like it was just yesterday!!!

You have got to be kidding me? This has to me one of the most juvenile polls I have ever seen on ANY BOARD.

Folks, this is a prime example of a collector wanting to say some for the sake of raising his posting numbers.

Please tell me this collector is under the age of 14?

Well I guess it's looking like mid October for the ARFF's. How long can they possibly string this out?

Aug 8- ARFF's formally introduced as the next release.

Aug 22- "Lastly, the Crash Trucks are on the way and the orders are much better than expected so make sure you get your order in while they’re still available."

Sept 5- "The Crash Trucks will be shipping soon so get the orders in today!"

Sept 19- "Word was just received that the long awaited Crash Trucks will be on the way next week. This means that we will be shipping the models approximately the end of the first full week of October."

Sept 26- "Code 3 will begin to ship the latest new release in about two weeks!"

What's coming next week? "Another couple of weeks." How about some details on the next releases, instead of some pictures of the roofs? How lame was that?

And I quote,

"NEWS -VERY GOOD!

Rocket man makes successful flight across the English channel

Code 3 will begin to ship the latest new release in about two weeks!

Another new release goes into production!

Plans for 2009 move forward with great new models planned
More special deals planned for Code 3 Collectors!"

Anybody heard of stalling?????????? HMMMMMMMMMM, maybe we could get the ARFFs by X-mas!!!!! C3 is 2 months behind on the release of one truck, so whats that mean for the rest of the line!

Read into what he's saying too. "Plans for 2009 move forward with great new models planned" and "Another new release goes into production!" So in all likelihood, we won't be seeing another release until after December. Nice job Code 3.

I have to think they're screwing themselves too. If, and that's a big if, they do get these out before the end of the year, they will have only released 10 models. Only 3 of those from 2008 and another 8 from 2007 have sold out. Nothing in the email indicates they will be releasing anything else in 2008.
