I dont know where you two hang out, BUT, if you had read todays "whats new" page on the code 3 website, you will see the results of the last poll JDunk held.

I already voted for $ 40,000 - $ 50,000.
The reason I think they will not share this one is the following.
If some people know the price of developing they gonna complain that the models are to expensive.
They do that already but then they can back it with the developing costs.

So what you are saying then, is that Jdunk is running a useless poll, as he is the one person who knows the answer, but he would never divulge that info with us?? Seems a pointless excercise then dont it?
Really, when you read the question, and then the piece he put in the whats new page, it reads that there will be a forthcoming answer.
This has been discussed in depth for many years, on many boards, and the majority of people are aware of these costs.
The only thing you have got right, is that yes, people will complain whatever.
To me, being a realist, I dont care how little the costs are, they are there to make a profit, not a loss, and there are more costs involved than just the tooling.

Where did those numbers come from? For years, many of us have been conditioned to believe that the "real" numbers are in the ballpark of DOUBLE the highest choice listed in the poll here.

No, I am not "in tight" with JD, its just that the posts from those 2, have been so incredibly moronic of late, they dont read the topics properly, they misinterpret all that is said, and they in general seem to be as thick as two short planks.
Still, it must be a comfort to know, they have you to stick up for them.

It has NEVER BEEN POSTED ANYWHERE AS TO WHEN THE RESULTS OF THE POLL WOULD BE ANNOUNCED.

It's called the MONTHLY poll, and actually JD said he'd tell us at the end of SEPTEMBER! So, back to the question, what does it cost?

Since I had the Code 3 Day event at Past-Time Hobbies the last week of the month and the news revolved around this event this past week I didn't have time and room to respond to the Poll. That said watch for the answer and why I said "...shed some light on an often asked question." Thanks for the patience.
