Yes you can cross Seattle off the list(it has nothing to do with five year olds or what you want...Code 3 attempted to do a Seattle rig a few years back and on approaching Seattle were given the thumbs down by the Seattle Fire Dept...then again if you had been around then you would have known that, wouldn't you??....so what needs to occur there is a re-approach to Seattle FD)....BTW...you will get more sense if you list the departments of cities most people DON'T want....because herein again lies the problem....decide on a low number of locales to make the job easier for Code 3.....so far we have a wish list for 16 rigs on this post alone....Code 3 is gonna do all of them for sure and the post is only a few days old.
The topic is fine and I feel a positive step in assisting Code 3 in what we as collectors would like ...now we have to get the number of localities down to a number that they cannot refuse or at least give an idea of what the majority of us would prefer...not just an endless list of rigs that are just not even remotely possible in any way shape or form.

Lets all remember the title of this thread.
JD LISTEN please. THESE ARE THE MAJOR DEPARTMENTS WE WANT you to take a look at.
The optimum word is "WE". This a thread for "WE" to express our opinions as to what each wants. Everyone has a right to his or her opinion.
This forum is never going to be able to decide on just a couple rigs to submit. It doesn't matter how many rigs are listed. I'm sure C3 can count. C3 can tally up the score to see what was most popular then go from there.
They can't make every rig requested and even if they did someone would not be happy. That's just life.
As for comments like the five year old, that's not what this forum is about. If you want to make a comment like that, make it a private message to the intended recipient.
I for one would like to see the Holley Navarre rigs made. Do I think there is a chance? No, unless I make a custom which is what I intend to do.
Some I would like to see is Atlanta and San Antonio.
As for Seattle, if you don't ask the question, you have no chance of getting a yes.

Interesting. Seattle allowed Corgi to make a 1999 E-One top mount pumper. I know I have the model in my collection. Matchbox made a Chev Suburban command vehicle. That is also in my collection. But we are talking Seattle; the city that bought 5 automated toilets for $5 millon and less then a year later sell them on E-bay for a loss of roughly $3 million.
May be Code3 should ask again and may be do a Toyota Prius command/support vehicle that Seattle is running.
Or maybe Seattle needs to quit change manufacturers. For the longest time they ran Spartan with Kenworth chassis and then E-ones, American La France, then back to E-ones. Plus throw in other manufacturer for the speciality trucks.
