Who out there would like to see code 3 make some models of the medevacs that are used everyday out here in the field. I believe if they made a model of an EC135 or BK117 with opening clam shell doors it would be a hit. There are so many agencys out there that would love to see there unit reproduced I would like to see Bayflite from St.Petersburg Fla. released or Tampa General Hospital's Aeromed.I know code 3 is for Fire and not EMS however there are a few fire agency's that have there own Medevac such as Orange County Fires Firestar 1 in Orange County Fla.
Helicopters
First thing Code 3 would have to do is make them with clear windows and deailed interiors. I passed on all the helos simply becuase of the opaque windows.
The past few helos were not great sellers. Probably the last of the helicopters we're going to see, and if we do, they'll likely just re-use the 412 mold.
I would love to see a maryland medi-vac helicopter. I collect mostly all Maryland fire models.
I to would like to see Code 3 make a BK117 Model too.
I have all the 412 models and now i think its time to make a new 1.
Starflights EC-145 would be a start
I think this would ba a great one to do as well since they already have the mold
Here's 4 pictures of Ontario Canada's Air Ambulances. The first 2 shots were of the Old Bell 212's we used prior to going exclusively with the Sikorsky S-76. The first shot is of a 212 in 1993 in the Old Ministry of Health colours, the second shot is the same bird re-painted. The 3rd is the Sikorsky in the old colours and the last shot is the new design of Ontario's Air Ambulances. Rumour has it that Ornge may be moving to the new Bell 222 in the future. Either way, I'd love to see C3 make the 212 or the Sikorsky, no-one does an S-76 Diecast model.
