Engines - Seagrave Marauder II

Here are a couple of Marauder II's delivered to departments here in Massachusetts over the last year over so. I think with so many departments receiving them in Mass. and elsewhere. Plus, don't forget LAFD and FDNY that a Marauder II replica will be essential. Also Pittsburgh has seen some recent Seagrave deliveries as well.

First, here is Wakefield, MA Engine 1, with the delivery of this 2006 Marauder II Wakefield became an all Seagrave fleet. While it is a basic white over red rig, many unique and colorful graphics adorn this piece, that combined with blue shadowed gold leaf lettering, make this one sharp engine in my opinion.

Here is another rig from Wakefield's neighbor Melrose. Melrose also has a matching tractor drawn aerial as well as an older Seagrave engine in their old white over red color scheme. Photos of Melrose's other rigs can be seen on massfiretrucks.com.

While the unique maroon color and unique lettering will be selling points for these, the different body style may cause issues with tooling.

Wakefield's other neighbor Reading also has a Maruader in service, although I don't have a photo of it. There is a photo of it in the Seagrave Maruader thread that is elsewhere on this forum.

Massfirebuff, I hope you won't mind me piggybacking this post. I already sent a package to Code 3. Just thought I would back it up with a post here. These would be for Unified Fire Authority. 16 Engines in all. The trucks and heavy rescue all match. We have a TDA on order and a platform in the works as well.

I forgot to add the images of the Engine that I built. It is 1/64th scale Code 3 FDNY cab and modified pierce rear body. The rest is scratch built.

Forum won't let me add the pics, sorry folks. I'll add them when it works.

The more the merrier...while I'd love to see local rigs the most, any non-FDNY Seagrave would make my day. There is no classier looking rig than a Seagrave...in my opinion at least.
