I'm open to anything from the early 40's up to 1970.

The first FDNY TL was a 1964 Mack/Truco 75' rig. It had a white boom and a gasolinr engine. It was assigned to L 1 in December of 64.

                                        FDNY L 1

The first grey boom models were the 1969 Mack/Eaton 75' rigs, of which there were 4.

MT 6901 had a white boom and was assigned to L 119.

MT 6902 had a grey boom and was assigned  to L 44, but went to L 127 while L 44s floor was being reinforced.

MT 6903 Had a grey boom and was assigned to L 14

MT 6904 Had a grey boom and was assigned to L 105

             FDNY L 14 MT 6903

These are true classics as they represent a true inovation in apparatus.

One-One-Oh to Brooklyn K  ...  it also qualifies as historic for the same reason   Smile_

i would have to agree on the series 900. also - pretty much any big city apparatus from about 1955-1975 which i think has long been missed in anyone's (good) lines. the old ward command towers, or first chicago snorkels, 1970s rescues ...

B,G; the TL's are beautiful. What fool(s) decided that "classic" couldn't or wouldn't sell? Those two TL's would and a lot more than some of the modern apparatus that C3 has turned out since the infamous decision not to pursue classics.

I would love to see a Mack CF for the Philly in a pumper or SQURT. A 1970's Seagrave for Philly would be great also.

I would love to see Code 3 develop a true classic line. My wish list would be any apparatus from the 1960's on. The number one classic on my list would a 60's or 70's Maxim S model. As I was growing up, my city and many towns around me ran these models. My hometown ran 2 lime engines and a TDA. I would also like to see Code 3 correct the ALF Century and also produce 700s, 800s, and 900s.

I am not going with a rig from the first post...
1968 or 1969 MACK CF - Engine FDNY
1968 or 1969 ALF 900 - Tiller FDNY or Philadelphia, PA
1973 Mack CF - Tower Ladder FDNY or almost ANY TOWN
1982 ALF Century - Engine FDNY
1969 Mack R - Engine NEWARK, NJ (red OR Lime) or ANY WHERE
1979 Mack R/Pierce - FDNY Rescue

As for a vintage year or Time Frame...
